Doctor Who Anime Half Sleeve Tattoo Design

I did this Doctor Who half sleeve in anime style for a female client. She wanted the exploding Tardis added there somewhere, and some hints of cosmic explosion. I wasn't familiar with the show to begin with so there were a couple of confusion when I first started the design. After getting helped by her, by being shown a bunch of visual references, I started the sketch, but with a little bit of doubt in my part. I think I tweaked the sketch about 3 times until she liked the initial look. From there, I pretty much started re-drawing the sketch into cleaner lines. I was pretty happy with how it turned out, considering that I'm not familiar with the tv show. I think I will give it a chance for sure, and it would be something I can sit back and watch with my wife.
